UNDERPASS, STOCKHOLM

During periods of heavy rainfall, the surrounding water table often rose above the height of the underpass resulting in water seeping through the concrete turning the tunnel into a metre deep underground lagoon.

The underpass was drained, cleaned and the rebar/concrete damage repaired. Floors, walls and ceilings were then successfully deep-sealed with Controll Innerseal and the underpass is now watertight and dry.
